This may be old news to alot of you, but I just now ran into this on the Voice of God Recordings website. Another soldier of the cross has went on to be with the Lord and this time it was brother Fred Sothman. Here is the information that was posted on branham.org on May 3rd:

With his own eyes, he saw thousands of miracles. The blind received their sight. The lame walked. He saw demons run like scared rabbits. Like Peter, James, and John, he stood on top of the mountain to witness the glory of the Lord.

He heard the thunder of the Seven Seals shake the country. He saw the Supernatural Cloud in the Arizona sky. He was there when squirrels were created. He was told of the silvertip grizzly bear and 42” caribou before the prophecy was fulfilled.

In the wilderness of Colorado, he saw the storm flee at the words of the prophet. For years, he served as Brother Branham’s trustee in his church, laying the foundation for this modern work as one of the original “Tapeboys.”

He continued on, becoming one of the first employees at Voice Of God Recordings, and again saw prophecy fulfilled as Brother Branham’s tapes circled the globe. With all that his eyes saw and all that was accomplished through his hands, what would Brother Fred Sothmann consider his greatest achievement in life? He was the prophets’ friend.

Early this morning at 2:15, our old friend went to be with the Lord. He was 98 years old. Brother Fred’s familiar “Amen” that Brother Branham liked so much is now being heard beyond the curtain of time. He’s reunited with his friends, his wife – Martha, and his beloved prophet in the loving care of the Lord Jesus.

And I heard Fred Sothmann say, “Amen.” There is nobody says it like him. He is in here somewhere. I don’t know where he’s at. He’s back in the back, somewhere. Where you at, Fred, where, where? Oh, yes, back there.

There will be a private funeral and burial, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Voice of God Recordings. The family sends their gratitude for all the prayers and thoughts of the believers around the world. It means a lot to them.

I want to thank all of our listeners, friends, and family for the prayers for my my wife and all of us during the delivery of our new bundle of joy; Zoe Calista Urrego, who was born on Sunday, April 1, 2012. I want to thank God for giving us another gift in our life. I feel more responsible than ever now with three ladies in the house to watch over.

My prayer is that God help me to be the best dad ever to Zoe and my first daughter Bella, from this point forward, and to always keep them raised in the fear and admonition of our Lord Jesus Christ. Zoe’s birth has certainly motivated me in a great way to always keep that Word before me so that they can see the same from me and will want to keep that Word before them as well as they grow.

Please keep me and my family, and this little ministry in your prayers as our desire is to live our life for others while we only have one life to live. I leave you with a quote from the prophet from the Message “God’s Provided Way of Approach to Fellowship” 60-0709
