Saints, as the scriptures tell us Look up for your redemption draweth nigh. This report was mostly one sided, mostly looking at “negative” aspects of the message. No thanks to the help of brother John Collins who is Brother Willard Collins grandson, this Message is now looked down upon because of his personal experience there at the Branham Tabernacle.

Just because he had negative experiences within the Message, doesn’t mean that all believers of this Message are “brainwashed” in any way nor are they just following a man as brother John Collins would like to put it.

I know what attracted me to this Message was nothing more than a true expression of Jesus Christ and the Bible coming alive to me personally through the avenue of Revelation, and that doesn’t come by a man, but by the Holy Spirit himself. The Bible says “that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.” according to 1 Corinthians 12:3. No man changed me, to who I am now but the Holy Spirit. It wasn’t brother Branham, and it wasn’t any other man, but Jesus Christ himself calling me.

If you don’t have the Holy Ghost, you will consider The Message of the Hour a cult and consider Bro. William Branham’s testimony, life and Message false. Please keep brother John Collins in prayer. JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) — WHAS11 News is looking into a religious movement that has roots in Kentuckiana. It has millions of followers, yet you may have never heard of it.

It is called Branham Tabernacle and every year, hundreds of people make a pilgrimage to Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Ind. to visit William Branham’s grave.

“I’ve been watching them for 25 years over there,” said Dallas Jenkins, who lives beside Eastern Cemetery. “I see license plates from everywhere,” Jenkins added, “Oregon, Canada, Florida, Texas, California.”

Branham first catapulted into fame before there was television. He died in 1965, but his followers continue spreading his message throughout the world.

“William Branham was a prophet of God and it’s wonderful to visit the place he actually was,” said David Forsberg, who brought his family from Norway to visit the cemetery.

Branham’s former colleague, Willard Collins, is now the minister at Branham Tabernacle. He spent years following Branham’s ministry and describes Branham as “the most remarkable man I ever met”.

“His whole ministry was a phenomenon,” said Collins. “He would minister the word like you never heard it.”

A former Branham Tabernacle member spoke to WHAS11. He does not want to be identified. We will call him ‘Mike’.

“He was to be the father of the charismatic ministry,” said Mike.

Traveling from city to city, Branham professed to use the power of God to heal. And quickly the message went worldwide.

“He was all over the world seven times,” said Collins.

A mysterious photo appeared in which Branham had a halo and he began offering predictions in more than 1,100 recorded sermons, which eventually became “Voice of God Recordings”.

“He raised himself into this platform that is almost, if not, equal to Jesus Christ,” Mike added.

Then in 1960, Branham predicted the end of the world. “We have exactly, listen, 17 years left,” Branham said in the sermon.

“Anything that he predicted either already came to pass, we watched a lot of it unfold, or it’s in the making now,” said Collins.

Branham predicted he would be alive to see the return of Jesus Christ, but he died on Christmas Eve 1965.

“They held his body from the grave from December, when he died, all the way into Easter, hoping he would rise back from the dead,” said Mike.

“Over there is an empty grave, like in Jerusalem, for us,” said Forsberg, pointing to Branham’s grave, which he visited Easter Sunday.

Nearly half a century after Branham’s death, the movement is growing by leaps and bounds, as more than 6,500 volunteer ministers spread the word in dozens of countries, reaching an estimated 2,000,000 believers.

So why have so few people around here heard of it?

“It’s almost behind closed doors. You invite somebody over to your house. You say ‘Did you know there was a prophet?’ You hand them this prophet’s material,” said Mike.

Mike says many of the recordings are controversial, expressing Branham’s view of women.

“Every sin that ever was on the earth was caused by a woman,” Branham preached in one sermon.

Branham compares women who wear makeup to Jezebel. “If you see a woman wearing that, you can say ‘How do you do, Miss Dog Meat?’ That’s exactly what God called her. He fed her to the dogs,” Branham said.

And he had this to say about Catholics, Baptists and Presbyterians. “Denominationalism is absolutely, I prove it by the Bible, is the mark of the beast,” Branham preached.

“All through high school, I never made friends because all the people had the mark of the beast,” Mike said.

Mike says questions about Branham’s teachings led to depression.

“I was struggling just to live from day to day. I laid in bed and cried most of the day,” he said. “I was actually publicly shunned from the pulpit from the pastor of this church. “

But Mike’s membership has been replaced many times over. Voice of God Recordings operates out of a multimillion dollar building near Charlestown, IN.

Tax returns say the organization has assets of nearly $110 Million.

“People just love this message,” said Collins.

Recordings, DVDs, children’s books and even a replica of Branham’s briefcase leave southern Indiana by the truckload, bound, mostly for developing countries

“It’s basically toys of Brother Branham’s possessions that they’re trying to sell and make money whenever there’s ministers out in the field who don’t even have shoes on their feet,” said Mike.

Brother Willard Collins says the ministry is nothing more than spreading the good word.

“It’s not centered on Brother Branham. It’s centered on Jesus Christ,” Collins said. “He was just the messenger. He never took any credit for anything.”

Collins says he believes that Branham will rise from the grave, just as he believes all true believers will, about a month before Jesus’ return to earth.

Which he believes signs show will likely be very soon.

A local Louisville Kentucky News Station has run or will be running a news report on why the followers of William Branham’s Message could be one of the biggest cults in America. The video below was taken and posted on YouTube by a user called abelsmith1978 yesterday May 13th.

In it it shows an upcoming preview of what they will be talking about in regards to Message Believers, The Branham Tabernacle and Voice of God Recordings among other things.

We hope that they will not sensationalize this to be more than what it is. Unfortunately there are those who believe non-scriptural teachings within this Message, but the majority of Believers saw nothing but Jesus Christ in this Message that was brought to us by Bro. In The Message entitled “The Serpent’s Seed” preached on September 28, 1958, Bro. William Branham states the following:

“Now, here’s what taken place. I believe, and can support it by the Bible, that it is the serpent that did it. The serpent is that missing person between the chimpanzee and the man, ’cause, listen, notice this now, that the serpent was not a reptile. He was the most subtil of all the beasts of the field.

Now, I went and got dictionaries today from everywhere to look up this word, what the word of “subtil” meant. It means “to be smart, to be crafty.” And the best interpretation of the–of the Hebrew from “m-a-h-a-h, mahah” means “having a true knowledge of the principles of life.” Now, let’s watch this just a minute. He’s smart, crafty.

Yet he’s called the serpent. But remember, he was the smartest thing there was, and the more like the human being than anything else that was on the field: closest to a human being. He was not a reptile.

The curse made him a reptile, and he was the… The Bible said he was the most beautiful of all. And even the curse didn’t take all of his beauty away, yet the glorious colors of the snake is beautiful. And his grace and his shrewdness, even the curse didn’t move it off. But you remember, God told him that his legs would come off and he’d go on his belly.

And you can’t find one bone in a snake that looks like a human being, and that’s the reason science is lost. But there he is. God hid it from the eyes of the wise and prudent and promised to reveal it to the sons of God in the last days, when the sons of God would be made manifest.”

In the message “Victory Day” preached on April 24, 1963, bro. William Branham states the following:

“It seems like, the Christian life, if the fellow is not absolutely centered on Christ, the Christian life, seems like, holds so many disappointments. But those disappointments are–are God’s Divine will happening for us.

Now, it don’t seem like it would be that, but it’s God’s way of doing things. He lets us hit the river, to see what we’ll do. God lets disappointments happen, to show victory.

Oh, if we could only see that! See? You’d only see that these things that seems to be so burring you, and upsetting you, they are trials.

They are things, to stand still, focus your glasses on the Word of God. And speak the Word, and then just walk forward. That’s all there is to do it.”

Is Christ the center of your life? When you run into troubles in your life, who do you turn to? Are you hungering for God in such a way that nothing else matters but to have a close walk with Him?

If Jesus Christ is not the answer to these questions then I would get down on my knees and seek Him day and night until Christ means so much more to you, than just attending a Message Church, knowing that God sent us a prophet for this day, or knowing all about the mysteries of the Bible and the Message from front to back.

The greatest mystery above all mysteries is Christ in you the hope of Glory as Paul said in Colossians 1:27.

Weaponizing Religion: Romans 13 Co-Author Tim Baldwin Reports

I thought this article and this book was pretty interesting to say the least. Chuck Baldwin and his son Tim Baldwin usually put out some really good material from a Christian point of view.

Many Christian pastors and leaders today are erroneously reviving the divine-right-of-kings argument used in the Dark Ages, which created some of the most horrific human affairs in history. They, like the grandfather of Communism, Georg Hegel, argue that government is Divinely sanctioned to do anything it pleases and that God requires people to submit regardless of God’s standards of justice. This argument has been used by virtually every tyrant since Jesus’ life, including Adolf Hitler.

This false doctrine is doing more to bring America and the rest of the world into slavery than perhaps any other thing. Holders of this doctrine are creating self-fulfilling prophecies of America’s destruction–all in the name of Romans chapter 13.

William Branham preached a message called “The Indictment” on July 7th 1963. In it, he accused and indicted this generation of modern Christians and make-believe Christians for the second crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Just like the Pharisees and Sadducees condemned our Lord Jesus Christ to death by their denominational creeds and dogmas so do the organizations and denominations of today, by disbelieving God’s Vindicated and Unadulterated Word.

They would rather have their traditions instead of the Word of God. It is not the individuals amongst those organizations and denominations, but rather those systems which fail to move on with God and only stay put, and rally around their particular doctrines and creeds.

Just like Bro. William Branham who was the vindicated prophet for our day as prophesied by Malachi 4:5-6 and Revelations 10:7, condemned these hypocritical, religious entities, Jesus did too in Matthew Chapter 23.

If you don’t know the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and haven’t been baptized in His Name to receive His Holy Spirit then you have no part in Him. Don’t think that you can make it in by your works. Jesus Christ is the only way the truth and the Life!

Youcef Nadarkhani

When I think of bro. Youcef’s case and what he must be going through, the main Bible Scripture that comes to mind is Revelation 12:10-12 which says:

10 – And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 – And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 – Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Let’s continue to pray from him and his family and all the other saints around the world who are suffering for the cause of Christ. We are not exempt from this type of treatment to us either because we live in Satan’s Eden. Satan is the god of this world, this is not God’s Kingdom. We are just pilgrims and strangers here seeking for a city to come.
